Debt Management


The Debt Management Commission reviews and accepts debt issuance of local governments, provides oversight of the indebtedness and debt management plans of local governments, established the percentage of limitation on ad valorem tax, and considers proposals to incur general obligation debt.

The Commission meets every February and August, and at the call of the Chair whenever business is presented.


This is a 5 member board with 2 year terms.
