Effective, November 1, 2023, all solar applications require Fire approval prior to submittal.

What We Do

The Building Division provides building plan check and inspections in a friendly, fast, and efficient manner to ensure construction meets all applicable codes.

To schedule a building inspection, please download the inspection request app or call 775-782-9006. All inspections called in prior to 3:30 pm will be scheduled for the next day upon availability.
*No inspections in south Douglas County on 9/18/24 & no inspections in Lake Tahoe or Clear Creek on 9/19/24*

PUBLIC COUNTER HOURS:  
Monday - Friday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
You must sign in on the Ipad in the lobby of the Minden Inn.
